The Environment

  • Where possible we believe in recycling signs.
  • We recycle metals by either re-using them or sending them to a recycling station and not landfill.
  • Where possible and practical Acrylic and polycarbonate materials are sent to specialist plastics recyclers.
  • We re-purpose, and re-use wherever possible. For example, the backing paper from the vinyl we print onto is re-used for packaging, masking, templates, and floor protection during installations.
  • We re-use items like bubble wrap, boxes etc. to lessen our landfill impact.
  • The printing inks we use are eco-friendly solvent, which breaks down safely in the environment.
  • Organic waste is put into green waste to be used in composting.
  • As ecofriendly signage materials become available from our suppliers, we offer them to our clients as a more sustainable alternative.

Safety

  • We have a culture of safety, where every person is responsible for safety.
  • Work site safety is essential to ensure the safety of our team.
  • We realise people make mistakes, and that mental abuse is not an option. Constructive communication, education and training are our ways of working with mistakes. Calm heads reach better solutions.
  • We have zero tolerance for bullying of any type, including sexual, racial, gender or religion.
  • Our workplace is kept tidy and clean to lessen the risk of accidents, injury, infection and for quality control.
  • We produce Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) to ensure we have identified hazards and have mitigated risks to allow our team to work in safe environments.
  • When we identify risks that are beyond our scope or are unacceptable to our team we choose to outsource the work to businesses whose knowledge and skills can mitigate the risks; or we recommend the client seeks alternative solutions.
