Recently we took delivery of a brand new Roland TrueVIS VG2-640 Printer/Cutter.
The colour that this printer can acheive is amazing. The 8 colours - Cyan, Light Cyan, Magenta, Light Magenta, Yellow, Black, Light Black, and Orange (CMYKLcLmKLkOr) allow us to acheive around 90% of Pantone colours, whereas a 4 colour machine is lucky to acheive 40%.
For businesses that demand brilliant orange and reds in their signage, we can deliver.
In terms of safety signage, we easily acheive the Pantone colours in AS 1319-1994
Orange
- previously almost impossible to acheive bright vibrant oranges are now easy ... including PMS 021c.
Grey
- grey is possibly the hardest colour to acheive with CMYK eco solvent signage printers. They either print with a greenish or pinkish tinge. With the inclusion of Light Black, grey is now an easy colour to acheive, and in many shades of grey. The finish is sublime.
Print Quality
- the new type of print head allows excellent print quality, and we can acheive readability with text as small as 2-3mm high.
Turn around
- this printer is 4 times faster than our previous printer and subsequently our turn around time is hugely improved.
If you would like to see what is possible, I would love to catch up and show you.
